Loving You Through the Years

A trail of drugstore glasses
...in the kitchen
...in the den
...in the bedroom
like our clothes last night.

Some images just say it all, Laurie. I think I've been in this movie. Not an unneeded word here--perfect.

Perfection! A love story laid bare (no pun intended, hee hee)

Lovely. Who would have thought drugstore glasses could be sexy :)

Brief, direct, luscious, just like a trail of clothes should be. Great write.

Slam---out' the ballpark, girl!

You know how I love tiny poems that really hit hard. The trail of glasses makes it clear that this is a long-term, cohabitating relationship. And the fact that there is still a trail of clothing, after a number of years perhaps, is a very good sign that they have kept the passion alive. Bravo to them and to you. ;)
