It's in the Air

when darkness falls I hear the calls
rustling through the breeze I see the trees
a candle's flame enticement calls my name
nostalgic pine of Christmastime divine

  7. I think it's too early as well, it's just where my muse took me... perhaps b/c as I was shopping for my daughter's birthday I came across a specialty shop putting their Christmas stuff out.

  19. To my mind came the image of a lit Christmas tree, and I thought: It does look like a flame on a candle, doesn't it? Don't know if you meant that for certain, but there it was.
