when darkness falls I hear the calls
rustling through the breeze I see the trees
a candle's flame enticement calls my name
nostalgic pine of Christmastime divine
All those items which evoke and emotion within us all. Pine cones and needles, mean that the festive season is not so far away!! Still waiting for summer here in England!
I think it's too early as well, it's just where my muse took me... perhaps b/c as I was shopping for my daughter's birthday I came across a specialty shop putting their Christmas stuff out.
Hello my friend Laurie! Always nice to come back to read your beautiful article. Very understandable , simple and elegant. I wish a excellent weekend for you, with very smiles and peace! Visit me too. Greetings from Rio de Janeiro/Brasil.
To my mind came the image of a lit Christmas tree, and I thought: It does look like a flame on a candle, doesn't it? Don't know if you meant that for certain, but there it was.
I could smell the tree...and Christmas will be here before we know it!
