I'm taking part in the January AROS challenge- to write a small stone daily. What is a small stone? It's an observance written into a short poem or vignette. Click here to learn more. It's not too late for you to join.
I participated last January and July. Taking note of the small things helps me stay in the present moment and enjoy it. It slows me down and helps alleviate stress.
I will post my small stones here daily (along with my other memes) and then add them to the tab at the top of the blog, My River of Stones, along with last July's stones.

I'm doing River of Stones too, but only putting them on a page in my blog listed up on top. I decided to save my blog just for longer meme efforts, and also if I don't come up with something a day or three I won't feel guilty. LOL. (I will be posting on the stones site though.)
ReplyDeleteI like the visual this paints Laurie and the quick turn at the end - I'm afraid my yard is the jungle as well but try to view that as a good thing no matter how misguided ... probably has something to do with lazy procrastinator etc. Nice to see you at the river again ...

ReplyDeleteloose bamboo shoots...funny, when I think of bamboo shoots they are soft and served in a tangy sauce at our local Chinese restaurant...we all have such different perspectives when we read a word or phrase...and my tummy is full, it's not like I'm hungry:-)
