If I may,I thought you might like my story that your cardinal pic made me think of. 4 years ago. a cardinal had eggs, I do not know what appened but, next thing you know it is raising baby woodpeckers along with 1 baby cardinal. this happened right outside my window. now, every year, woodpeckers and cardinals come together and help teach each other. it is so amazing to watch.
How sweet... cardinals and woodpeckers helping each other out. They are so beautiful. I have a lot of both here. Cardinals hold a very special place in my heart. I tell about it on my other blog.
