One St. Patrick's Day...

Aimlessly we ambled hand in hand
down a country road off the beat-
en path, passed an empty card-
board box, sign “Free Puppies,”
junkyard truck with tires
for sale, On Tap
neon green
BEER; we
stopped.

    Puppies and beer! A respite for the tired soul. And there are many of them especially the heavy vehicle drivers!
