Life

Plank by rickety plank
Hope treads ahead,
a tightrope walker

feet steady
keenly aware
one slight misstep

might break her,
yet with faith enough
to try.

  12. Indeed a person has to have enough faith to keep walking one step at a time, whether on a tight rope or on the path called 'life.'

  20. Insightful and beautifully sketched “take” on hope. We can't live without it - though, sometimes it seems, it's hard to live with it. Smiles.
