Copious Flow

Sunrise behind rock buttes in southwestern US. Photo by Peggy Goetz

Resurrected:
a phantom inside of me
longing for flexibility,

agile mind, body, spirit.

A tangible difference
felt in ten weeks-
acuity and energy.

Flaccid?
Poetic fluidity,
my everlasting rock.

Once you've started to see and feel the difference a good habit makes, it's hard to go back to old ways.

Great use of the words and such a journey is worth the energy. Blessings

Oh yes, it's worth every little ache and pain, the time .. all of it! I calculated how many miles I walk (fast) in one month and it comes to almost fifty! Two to three miles at a time doesn't seem that far. Keep at it, your heart and mind thank you.

Nice Lauire! I like that you used my picture--and sunrise is indeed a resurrection of sorts. Yeah for the Goddess of Poetry! Thanks for your continued support here.

Trust, the body is less tolerant of abuse and neglect with age. Keep moving so it remains natural. Ack, sorry to preach. Love what you do, Laurie.

A lovely write, Laurie --- introspective and just right. I like the way you get to the point here. May the flexibility you seek come just a little easier!
