Terror in the Dark Night

Death revolver
Everywhere aiming
Victims' lives hanging bats
In the dark night when
Lucifer strikes

It is such a tragedy when one man's twisted psyche is give free reign on the lives of the innocent.

Way to make it dark and current....I have no idea what goes through someones mind that would make them want to do something like this.

Shudder. Kind of goes with my poem . . . this kind of violence feels supernatural in its randomness. . . just like its randomness fit a pattern.

What a tragedy--but I like the strong short form of this. No other words needed.

Lots of power in very few words. Nicely written!

What a timely prompt coinciding as it did with the tragedy in Colorado. How to explain evil doing? I think your poem hits a mark or two.
