Seeking Power

In barren pool of gray
she casts aside all

worry but a shield
against conception

that with enchantment
from above

spells intense results.

When you cast aside those worries, and look for, and accept, that guidance, the results can certainly be powerful and intense!
Short and sweet!

Pity those who in their unawareness do not recognize that enchanting power from "out there" and never experience of God's intense love.

Pray for them.

What's the need to worry when we are full of faith and convinced of Providential support?...I like your use of 'enchantment' and 'spells' in the lines..a lovely write :)

Your poem is a sweet reminder that enchantment can come from above.

I like the simplicity of this. A message in a few lines. Nice write.

There is something magical and your words are full of enchantment.

very nice line breaks in this....it really works especially in the casting aside all//worry being a shield...giving each line a meaning all its own, and together yet another...

there is something about the picture that seems to fit so perfectly with your words (or is it the other way around?). hmm...

an enjoyable read.

Laurie,
I think the best magic of all, arrives with us as gifts from above. Faith often returns such belief..
