ARCHIVES.....FIRST DRAFTS.....
I like your choice of words in this quatrain: murky, profundity, on course. All so apt to the prompt.
Awesome, Laurie. Love the "sign of hope" for those lost at sea.
Love the photo and the poem!
Flows beautifully, like a song!
Like this lighthouse poem, Laurie! They have such a history, don't they?
As rhymically beautiful as waves on sand! So lovely and so simple. Sometimes that's the best way to express the most profound ideas.
i love the symbolism in lighthouses...have always had an affinity to them...nice piece laurie...
This sounds very Emily-ish to me. I enjoyed reading it twice, to savor the rhythm of it.
A beacon of hope...lovely words ~
Admirably done. The symbolism that is the light house speaks eloquently for itself, and you have allowed it to do just that.
I love the rhythm and flow of this.
I really like lighthouses, have a collection of miniatures of those that I have seen. This is a beautiful poem.
One of the great metaphors.
