Fools' Battleground

Seditious lies enmesh pundits
who pledge for tufts of change.
They tread on sacred ground
tremor emphatic plans, rearrange

sporadic polls of popularity
plummet, plaster fear around;
hindered growth a stigma,
nether fools' battleground.

Ah, pundits - always good fodder for poetic musings. Excellent use of the wordle, Laurie.

Good response to the wordle! They do like to plaster fear around--those nether fools. Write on!

This is a timely piece. When I apply the last line to the media coverage of Iowa's recent straw poll, it makes me laugh(and scares me a bit, too). Great piece!

A great read Laurie.
Wouldn't our world be a better place without these pundits 'plastering fear around'.
