Perfect title - great poem with wonderful layers!
Very clever!
Ah yes, let's hear it for scanty summer frou-frou :-)
I like the way you captured the scene in 4 lines. Please feel free to link any poem, old or new, on the Real Toads Monday Open Link.
Says it all. I love frou-frou. : )
Short and sweet. Scanty clothes allays heated goodbyes? Hmm...
averting ones eyes keeps one from getting hit int he back of the head by ones wife as well...smiles....and avoids her good byes...
Your words definitely express the picture! Nice write.
I like the word "frou frou" and the clever brevity of your piece.
Interesting how the writes of "night time" as so different? hummmmm....
love frou-frou!nice and tight.
Very similar in content to my piece - you just captured it in a much tighter but nevertheless wonderful gem.
i know i am parroting others ~ you captured this perfectly and in so few words! delightful, Laurie! ♥
So much is covered,(and uncovered)in this brief, witty poem. Sometimes fewer words say it all.
a temptress to the end. i like it!
wisely put...n I loved the title :)
What an interesting irony . . that her scanty frou-frou should divert his lustful eyes. From . . . ?
Thanks, everyone, for your comments. Doctor FTSE- I'll leave that one to your imagination ; )
The feel of the picture so well captured in few words!! Neat!
i'm goin' right out and buy me one of those scanty frou-frou things!
Taut, sharp, nailed it - perfect.
Nicely done!
