Ah, to be caught in the middle. Great words.
Laurie answered Berowne's quiz correctly last week. Can she do it again? :-)
LOL... trying to remain neutral... nearly.
I can so relate here...
How excellent is this? An insightful view of the world in 4 lines, and such an interpretation of the picture too!
Marvelous write!
Between the devil and the deep blue sea? LOL

Not easy to be in the middle...but at least in the middle one has choices.

I'm a fan of alliteration, as you probably know. You nailed it here!
It always pays to be prepared!
You just don't know where it's going to come from, do you? :-) I loved your poem. Maybe it was the shortness of it. It's beautiful.
Greetings from London.
It's good to adapt quickly! I'm with you..eyes in the back of your head...not bad either!

Betting both ways, eh? Love it. Clever write.
I think the middle is the way forward, Laurie !
Oh for sure- the middle ground is safe and exciting of both worlds!
Brian "stole" my thought ... that you are in the eye of the storm. But sometimes the middle ground never really LIVES.
It is not easy to be in the middle....but always good to be prepared. :-)
