Magpie Tales prompt

Cherry Lemonade
by Laurie Kolp

Spring at last, I see you smiling down at me
Amid a field of cherry and lemon tulips.
Oh, wondrous delight!
So pleasing to the slated gray
Winter's wrath stabbed ubiquitously,
A fork in fleshy earth,
Leaving scars only you can replace.
Dear spring, I love you!
Cherry lemonade~
Refreshment for my soul.

This is my favorite of those poems responding to the photo prompt. Made me smile.

This one makes me happily anticipate the time I'll soon spend in my garden.

This is a wonderful prelude to spring, Laurie. So timely and universal..we are all ready now. I love what you did with this. Cherry Lemonade. This prompt stomped me but you took off with it. Kudos to you!
