Running amuck at last
Early adulthood freedom rendered
Sophomoric attitude impacting
Pollyanna-like naivete; results--
Ejected lovers amassing piles of shit
Counterproductive, rancid rapscallion
Tethered; maturity at last

Phew! That was quick off the mark... Great idea to use the acrostic.. this recalls many moments of the growing up process.
Very creative acrostic poem and captured the challenge well.
Nice acrostics!

Nice roadmap to growing up!

Wonderful wordplay..like the rapid growth of a flower..forcing it's way out of the ground..Jae
Great Acrostic and very effective the impact of this flight to freedom (growing up years).
Correct me if I am wrong but I think there is a wee typo error ~ Soph-o-mor-ic.
Lovely acrostic on growing up. I hope to have this much to say about my own life when it's time for me to look back (I do avoid it, I hate getting old!)
Thanks for participating in the Wednesday Challenge on Real Toads, Laurie.
Take care and keep smiling. <3
Thanks everyone!
Nanka- Now corrected... I appreciate it

Maturity at last? I hope not! A really funny acrostic.
Wow... you summed it all up so nicely.
I have a 15 year old who thinks she knows everything about everything, and, even when she learns she doesn't never admits it.. I think she fit in with your piece very nicely... I'm just waiting for the maturity part ;)
