Hope on St. Patrick’s Day

Green springs new life-

lucky shamrocks, emerald isle.

Leaping leprechauns-

pelting raindrops, Irish jig.

Iridescent rainbows-

prismatic windows, open heart.

A pot of glimmering gold-

eternal promise, shining soul.
