Upon Receiving the News

Inclined
to prepare for
the worse but hope
for the best, she felt as
vulnerable as a child on the
playground. cornered by a ruthless
bully. hoping this was all just a figment
of her overactive imagination; let the battle
begin... she was prepared ... to fight... and win.

Face up and see results. A bully is overbearing in the face of the meek. They withdraw in the face of resistance. This person will triumph!

Yeah, go for it!

I love the concrete shape of this poem and note the steep incline from the bottom to the top!

The attitude in the poem is brilliant and liked the inclined slope shaped poem!!
Wish you the very best, no battle is won unless it is fought rightfully and fairly!

Rage, rage against the dying of the light. Sometimes the only thing we can do is fight. Beautiful poem.
