I love the interplay of the composition and beautiful poem. The triangle of yellow like a sunbeam nourishing the blossoming of the lilac, the way peace grows in the hearts of children, you tie it all together so well. Lovely to be introduced to your artwork!
Wow! You created this illustration, didn't you? there's the sun and the lilacs along with the words. Let's hang out with our innocents and watch peace blossom.
Laurie!!!! This is wonderful! I'm still smiling as I type these words. You ran away with this one...and I'm on the same page as Anna with that wonderful, triangle of sunshine spilling it's light through the piece...so very honored to have you play along...and so excited by your piece. Yup...another one of those virtual standing ovations from way over here.
loved the lilac eyes.wonderfully done. and thank you for your comments.I do look forward to your comments and sadly for me I have been missing quite a bit in the last few weeks .great to be back reading.
"Lilac eyes, a splash of sunshine on the side," very sweet, but also sounds like a bar order! I loved this piece and offer congrats on your award! Innocence above all is to be protected, right? Love, Amy http://sharplittlepencil.com/2012/10/02/slp-is-back-creative-juices/
