Tainted Hues

Grip the needle between your teeth
a deluge of rainbow thread beckons
all proclaiming the perfect match,
say not a word nor move your tongue
lest you paint red their sunny views.

Prompt inspiration: 3 Word Wednesday- grip, prefer, thread

I had the sense of someone biting their tongue..intent on their sewing - real or not - complex, compact and thoughtful piece..Jae

That's a clever poem, you can read it straight, or look for metaphors.

Your sound advice... say not a word, hold your tongue... applies to most every situation wherein others make declarations. Well done, Laurie!

Laurie, loved the tapestry you made out of the 3WW words, especially the painting red their sunny views. I'm all about the rainbow! Amy
