Mayday, It's May Day

Mayday, Mayday
Come in Mayday!
Two rejections
In two days
Do you hear me, mayday?

What’s this you say?
I need an assistant
‘Cause the poems I choose are…
What did you say, mayday?

I’m feeling pretty shitty, mayday.
I do this for my readers anyway.

Thank you for your support!

Honey, at least you try! I don't even do that. You are an inspiration. Love, Mosk

Laurie, sounds pretty 'typical.' Sigh. I think the best thing to do with poetry is to do it for yourself, as well as for your readers, but primarily for you (and your family). That is what I have concluded!
