A Skyward Day

Birds’ morning songs
fill our world with buoyancy~

a splash of sun’s
vibrant colors on high

sizzling bacon
crispy in my mouth

a morning kiss and hug
a swoosh outdoors.

Allow joy to lift today
skyward, a vow of amity.

What a cool form! And what a lovey poem--I love how the "e" invades the poem without being there--the sonic "e" in "buoyancy" and "crispy" and "amity," the way hard vowels are reminiscent of the "power of e," that oft unspoken letter that adds spice to so many sounds ... I love it!
