Nary an opportunity did he miss
To push a button: BANG, BUZZ, HISS
Imagine the look on his baby face
When a seashell tip he poked in place
Reacted with a SISS, BOOM, BAH
Then snapped his finger with a claw

This is so cute and I love the playful action words
Very clever take for this week's prompt. Fun read!
Sometimes 'look don't touch' is best! :)
Very clever...and very well written...and , correct me if I'm wrong, there is more to this than meets the eye! Like that a lot. vb
This one's got a bite to it! Great write Laurie!
The tip of the shell does look like a button. Nice one.
playful magpie.
well done.
:)
yikes! very cute :)
What a clever and delightful take on the prompt. Can picture it all!
Great, Laurie. Little kids love to push buttons (literally and figuratively). This guy just learned the proverbial "don't touch the stove" lesson we all had to learn the hard way. Loved the onomatopoeia as well. Amy

A clever lesson - well posed. Perfect Magpie.
Interesting and cute take. Probably happens in one form or another all the time. Enjoyed the sound effects, too.
Lovely Magpie, a cautionary tale for wee ones.
Laurie, this is pure delight. It has actually happened to me ~ as an adult!
Thanks... I'm a mother of a button pusher (aren't we all?).
Lovely and playful.

Love it! Isn't there always someone around to push the buttons... smiles.
Fun poem. Clever response. Button pushers abound!
