Cooling Seduction

Whitecaps run parallel lines
to Mother Ocean's shore
I lie supine
anticipating
sweet seduction
longing
for salty tongue
to make its way
up steamy legs
teasing tastes
from ankle
to knee
to thigh
to hip
until I know she's done;
I watch her turn back
and head home.

Not sure if I feel cooler or a bit steamier, but definitely a refreshing write.

We were going to visit Cocoa Beach, but our plans fell through. Now, I want to go more than ever. Lovely and playful write :)

Great invitation in these opening lines. In land locked Colorado I am missing the ocean.

Well crafted. I've heard of waves lapping at the shore, but this is a new take on it!

The pull of the tide...the mystery, the power, the force...a lovely write indeed! Imagining it now, and feeling the cool!

Without those first two lines, the sensual takes over completely! A very very well written poem.

The waves can be awe inspiring and the tides are a living phenomena.
