Self-Will

Temptation bites

and I become the apple;
it, the worm

digging a hell path
in my God consciousness

self-will the intercourse
subjugating all morality.

Too many worms make for one unappealing (a-peel-ing?) apple!

I love short, interesting poems like this.

This turns that old myth into a big, poetic re-think! Food for thought - without the worms, though.

"Self-will the intercourse
subjugating all morality."

Powerful material, Laurie. Amy
