Perception

Waking, Walking, Singing, in the Next Dimension? 1979 by Morris Graves
Pic prompt courtesy of THE MAG 171

She sees birds
in spectacles,

a spree of feathers
encircle words
of peace

when she chooses
to put them on.

it begins with the choice each day, to put them on...and chase after such peace...smiles.

The choice is often simple so I will simply choose. Thank you Laurie.

Love this, Laurie! Looking and seeing - two separate things! But choosing to look and truly see or at least think deeply about what we are looking at - important! Your use of 'spectacles' is such a neat take on the image prompt ... and then I free associate to 'rose-colored glasses' and my heart leaps!

Smiling at those spectacles! Through my spectacles, now I see them too!

i enjoy the triangulation of the title, art and words, and the three graphs play on that, i think. your words give me something to think about. such good stuff.

Many could use a pair of 'spectacles' such as these, especially politicians and world leaders. Nicely inspired words from the image, Laurie. Enjoyed this.
