Wasted Hope (Blitz poetry form)
cracked like an egg
cracked and wasted
light a cigarette
remains a stranger
spins the bed

I'm left a little confused by this poem. But then I'm not very intellectual. Just wanted you to know I did read it, as I do all your posts.
That many front to back links had to be difficult. Looks like all the Wordle words were used too. Neat!
The blitz form lends itself to confusion. Some of the wordle words led me in that direction. Thanks for stopping by!
Laurie...talk about power! that is one powerful blitz! .... terrific whirdle!
I love the form Laurie. This is my introduction to it, and I think you've done it justice. Clever piece...it was a fun read.
Wow I felt as if I was spinning with your words.
What a clever way you twisted them all into something that makes sense. Great use to the wordle words.
I haven't used the blitz form for a while, but you definitely used it effectively in this wordle poem! Laurie, I love the 'hope'ful ending!
Laurie, love this form. A friend of mine told me about it some months ago. You handled it nicely.
Such energy ... this had me racing down the page!
This was new for me!! But I came thumping down the stair to the bottom. It did give me the feel of walking down a stairway!!
I really enjoyed this.
I found the form quirky and so very interesting. !t gave it a real addictive quality which I loved.
Well wordled and thanks for introducing me to the 'blitz'. :-)
your talent inspires.
A great format for using a heterogeneous collection of words effectively, in a giant stream of consciousness. Congratulations: a real success.
What a great idea to use the wordle as a basis for a blitz poem. Like all great ideas, it seems obvious now it's been done, but no one thought to do it before you.
I love it!
I've never heard of a blitz poem before today, but I like it. The repetition propels you forward, like stumbling down an incline and picking up speed until you're at a dead run. Fantastic use of the wordle, Laurie. :)
Interesting form. I like the Wordle words used in blitz!
This was a great read Laurie.
I've never heard of the blitz form before - it looks like fun I feel I need to give it a go.
