a phantom inside of me
longing for flexibility,
agile mind, body, spirit.
A tangible difference
felt in ten weeks-
acuity and energy.
my everlasting rock.

makes all the difference to get that energy flowing eh? good on you for sticking with it...and it seems to help the poetic muscle as well...smiles.
Once you've started to see and feel the difference a good habit makes, it's hard to go back to old ways.
When you have energy and feel good everything rocks!
It's nice to have energy.
Nice addition to you body of work, both personally and poetically.
Nothing like the feel of a new surge of energy, feeding both mind and body. Lovely write!
Great use of the words and such a journey is worth the energy. Blessings
Oh yes, it's worth every little ache and pain, the time .. all of it! I calculated how many miles I walk (fast) in one month and it comes to almost fifty! Two to three miles at a time doesn't seem that far. Keep at it, your heart and mind thank you.
I especially love your closing lines. Thank Goddess for poetry!
Nice Lauire! I like that you used my picture--and sunrise is indeed a resurrection of sorts. Yeah for the Goddess of Poetry! Thanks for your continued support here.
Yes, poetry is like a solid rock to rely on.
It is good to get those poetic juices flowin'!
Looks like success on all fronts. Well done.
Trust, the body is less tolerant of abuse and neglect with age. Keep moving so it remains natural. Ack, sorry to preach. Love what you do, Laurie.
It's nice to have some inspiration by your side!
No more listless and directions defined. Those spurts of energy to thank for! Nicely Laurie!
New energy and new life, very nice
Wonderful! the close is a relief! :)
And an excellent rock it is too.
gorgeous laurie. well-done, and I can relate.
Quite lovely Laurie :-)
Walking is the best exercise ... glad to hear this is giving you energy and poetic creativity :)
A lovely write, Laurie --- introspective and just right. I like the way you get to the point here. May the flexibility you seek come just a little easier!
