Sunflower

Stop and look at the beauty
Unfolding before your eyes
Natural as the sun above
Flowering in Autumn's arms
Like a smiley face stamped
Over your heart with love
Winding yellow happiness
Every time you sneak a peek
Revealing who's in charge

I love you chose this form; it is gorgeous. I love the lines, "Flowering in Autumn's arms
Like a smiley face stamped
Over your heart with love
Winding yellow happiness"

I had to read this a few times--just because it makes me feel happy all over. It's a "feel good poem". :-)

And I love your wording, especially Flowering in Autumn's arms
Like a smiley face stamped
Over your heart with love.

Great work, Laurie.
