Cosmic Phoenix

At the end of every poem
space fills the begging page,
a void in this poet’s mind
whirling in a growing cage.

“So little done, so much to do,”
echoes doubtful muse of mine.
“Why can’t I set you free
Cosmic Phoenix so divine?”

I love the title - it sets up a perfect symbol for your poem. Nice one LP!

"So little done, so much to do" seems sometime to be the story of my life.

So little done, so much to do... speaks loudly for me this day. 3 days into a 'designated writing break' and I have yet to place a word down. Been productive, just not for the muse.

I Love the way this sounds, it almost sings to me.

It's a very nice take on the prompt. I never thought of that aspect.

Wait till Phoenix Rising comes out on DVD that'll ruffle a few feathers.
Very well done
