Life's Hope

Season is the prompt over at Writer's Island. I love spring's fresh new growth, lighter in color and fragile as a newborn babe. One look at this one in my backyard and all I could see was...

Life's Hope

Life~
Spraying, splaying
Reaching skyward
A sago palm
New growth, green
Arms lifting, praying
~Hope.

You've seen the metaphor, shared it and left it at that. Fine verse, well done.

I love sagos, have one in my front yard. Your poem will be what I remember when I see it now. Love the new growth and the feeling of hope you express.
