A Day at the Sun

Suzy invited me to the sun one day
We swam through Cool Whip as we played
Leap frog with peaches and mango
Jumping hoops of pear mandiango
Until the heat was too much to bare
So we stripped down to our underwear
And lo and behold I did discover
Fruit salad in secret places uncovered

Oh, how gorgeous—your poem and your son's creation (I enlarged the photo to look at it closely) are both deliciously lovely, Laurie.

There seem to be no departments in life for which fertile metaphors cannot be found in food - and vice versa. You are obviously unusually skilled in this. Enjoyable and VERY suggestive.
