ARCHIVES.....FIRST DRAFTS.....
Powerful verse! WOW! Coupled with the picture it is indeed poignant.
Proverbs 3:5-6
I love all the 'Vs', beautiful words.
That is the choice, isn't it? Excellent write.
it is a choice all must choose each day.but I do think indulging a little is a good thing.
Nicely written. Lots to think about. As for me, I would support 'faith' but not necessarily 'blind faith.' Just me.
Laurie!Great minds followed the same path, told the tale quite differently. How synchronous of us!;-)
the choices we make in many ways determine where we will get in life...
Interesting choices...leading us to many journeys ~
Great take on the prompt...so nicely done!
powerful words with a powerful shot - you've really nailed this beautifully Laurie ...
Power in your verses...questions not easily answered but life changing
Rest assured if there is a God, and he has a plan for me, it will involve brimstone. I'll take the other one.
I'm a big fan of volition myself though it's often led me in circles, nice contrast between the two stanzas.
Pithily and very effectively put, kiddo! Love it!
Ouch, what a stumper of a question!Oooh, what a cracker of a poem!
Interesting take and...I'm thinking about my answer, Laurie. :)I like poems that make me think.
What a difficult choice you've presented us with, Laurie!
Doesn't God grant us free will? I think I'd choose the path down the middle!
