aros, Day 8
Monday stayed home sick today
he was up all night complaining
with thunderous outbursts, discontent
and when he finally showed his face
at Morning Dawn's drive-in show
sallow was his color, off
so in he'll stay today.

a-w-w-w! feel better.
Cleverly penned, nice.
OOh, those thunderous outbursts when one doesn't feel good can be hard to listen to. You really are doing well keeping up with the 'stones.'
Must have been an awful day. Take a well earned rest, that's the best!

Stayiing in today - sounds like a great idea to me! So well done. A nice thing to read on a cloudy, rainy Monday here on the farm. 8-)
strong and wise poem
monday is not a bad day to stay in at all...i hope that they feel better...
Ah Monday..it can be a tough day in the sunshine...hope his grumbling complaining will bring rainbows.
monday blues indeed.this has the feel of a lovely lullaby to be heard with warm soup under a blanket.
I'm with Brian! this was well done - the monday blues - staying in bed - a rainy day indeed, well pictured here!
Nicely realized piece of writing, Laurie...
Better days, we must to believe they exist, and that they are close.
xoxo
Monday is served up so well here, Laurie!
I wish I can stay in specially on Mondays ~
Hope all is well ~
Very cool!
Rainy in and out. Bummer. Days home make memories of mothers' hands. :)
Not a big fan of 'thunderous outbursts' when associated with illness. Rest is called for.
Clever piece of writing. Bravo.
Thanks all, but Monday is no child...
I've seen a few of those Mondays. Bed rest is definitely the best solution. Great word picture.
Oh Monday blues and I'm sick too. This is very appreciated.
I caught Monday's bug and it filtered into Tuesday. Clever write.
Charming!
