Life is a Glass House

Can you really see me?
Is my life not but a glass house,
an open book for your omnipotent eyes
from which I cannot hide nor run away
because you are everything
you know my path
and I trust you.

Yes, we can run but we can't hide from the Prime Creator.

He can see the windows to our soul.

And that last line is lovely ~

Without the last line, without the trust, the glass house would be too scary to contemplate, wouldn't it?
(I love that you have an illustration. Bonus!)

How true! And you've stated it all so simply. I think you're talking about how you can't hide anything from god.

love is built upon trust. and with that we lay our souls bare for our partners, life enters a glasshouse. everything done or said is open to see. only love can bring such feelings. beautiful creative poem.

I don't want to get all the believers' rage directed my way, but being a non-belliever and reading this is absolutely terrifying! Really nice write, Lauri!
